Back to School!

Happy Father's Day

In honor of Father's day I am posting pictures of all the dads in my life.  First, my dad, who passed away 5 years ago and who I think about and miss every day.  The first picture is from when I was 4 years old. Don't ya love the 70s groove we have going on here?  Oh and I love the 'fro my dad is sporting :D

The other picture of my dad and I is from his wedding to Shelly in 2004.

The next dad in my life that I want to honor is my hubby, Jason.  This picture is from when I went to visit him in Seattle for his birthday.  We went to The Tokyo and had a wonderful dinner.



The next dad that I would like to honor is my father-in-law, Guy Wilcox.  He is always willing to help with getting my girls picked up or dropped off.  He loves spending time with us.

Updating

I am making it my goal to write on this blog at least once a week.  I have another blog that I've recently restarted and that one is a personal blog to keep myself going on my Project 365.  I am doing really good with keeping up on that blog and have been writing in it a couple of times a week since I restarted it.  So that is my goal with this blog too.  I will update this blog at least once a week, more if I have more that I want to share.  I will also continue posting my pictures as scrapbook pages from Creative Memories Storybook Creator 3.0 plus.  So tonight I will post this, a little post to get myself going again.  If anyone is still out there, thanks for taking the time to take a glimpse into our crazy, crazy life.

I need some input from my friends and family. I really like the look of the pages I did for back to school, but I found a template on the Scrap it Digital blog that I think is super cute too.  So here's the question...do I use the pages that I posted in the last post or these pages in our family scrapbook? 

Back to School

On Monday August 23rd, my girls went back to school. B'Elana started 4th grade at Fox Hills Elementary school magnet program. She has been going to school with most of these kids for the last 3 years and was so looking forward seeing all her friends again.

Deanna started her 9th grade year. Her schedule was a mess, so she had a bit of a struggle the first couple of days, but she thinks she may finally have it figured out. She's going to take a couple of classes online, swim for Skyline, skip Chinese for this semester (hopefully we can get her into a class for next semester) and take Seminary. It will be a busy and fun year for both girls. I'm hoping they both do their best and have a great time.
